Planning Tours
Tripz allows you to do all of the costing, pricing and calculating that is required to effectively plan your tours.
Most people use paper, pen and calculator to work out cost sheets for tours. More advanced operators use a spreadsheet like Microsoft Excel to work things out and Word for typing up itineraries. This is more complicated because you need to know how to create formulas. All in all its a lot of work.

Calculate Costs

Confidently replace manual paper and pen methods of calculating costs, breakeven levels and profit margins with the Budget Tab. Simply select your suppliers from the list, enter the items your planning to buy, the quantity and the cost and the worksheet will do the rest. It calculates total extended costs, cost per person and allows you to determine your profit margin and your selling price the same way you are doing it right now. Everything is calculated instantly and automatically for you so you can focus on putting together the best tour at the right price. |

| Once your costs, target passenger counts and breakeven levels are determined, your selling prices are automatically calculated. You can base them on any of 3 different methods, a margin %, a profit $ amount or a specified selling price. Once these are determined, they are ready for display in the Pricing Tab. Simply select the quantity of inventory you want to make available for sale and the system will do the rest showing your pricing for each item at each occupancy level. | ||

Build Itinerary |
Building itineraries is very easy with the Tripz Tour Builder Worksheet. While you're selecting supplier items in your budget, you indicate that you want that item included in the itinerary. It places each item in a flexible, automatically formatted Detailed Itinerary sheet that allows you to manipulate each item quickly and easily. You can produce fancy detailed itineraries with full colour pictures in no time. Print, fax or email your elegant itineraries to clients with just a few mouse clicks so you can close more sales with less effort. |
